Description

Since neodymium magnets adhere strongly to magnetic material, they are suitable for materials like magnetic film and magnetic blackboard film and also magnetic glass boards. Common kitchen magnets cannot adhere to magnetic glass boards. The glass forms a barrier between the magnetic surface and the magnets, but neodymium can adhere and hold up to 25 g despite this barrier.

Please be careful when handling this product, for reasons pertaining to the properties of this material. The magnets are break and chip easily under pressure or on impact. Please make sure that the magnets do not fall down or collide with each other. Please employ this product only for its intended use. Furthermore, please keep the magnets away from children, they present a hazard if swallowed.

Remarks

The magnet can hold up to 2.00 kg if directly applied to the magnetic material. This value is the result of material tests at room temperature with a pull test on a polished 10 mm thick steel sheet 235JR (ST37). An applied force of 1 kg corresponds to 10 N. The adherence might be significantly decreased, if the surface is uneven, coated or made of a thin material. Furthermore, a reduction in adherence by up to 10 % might occur in rare cases.
