A tension fabric frame is a type of frame that allows to stretch and hold a print on fabric with tension. This enables a smooth, creaseless presentation. This frame is designed for fast print exchanges. It complements modern décor with a slim, almost invisible frame.

Acoustic elements are assigned to an absorption class (A, B, C, D or E) based on their sound absorption properties in accordance with DIN EN 11654. The absorption classes are defined as follows

• A: αw: 0.90 to 1.0 -> maximum sound absorption
• B: αw: 0.80 to 0.85 -> very high sound absorption
• C: αw: 0.60 to 0.75 -> high sound absorption
• D: αw: 0.30 to 0.55 -> normal sound absorption
• E: αw: 0.15 to 0.25 -> low sound absorption
• αw: 0.00 to 0.10 -> Not classified

The sound absorption coefficient α indicates what percentage of the incident sound is absorbed. If α = 0, there is no absorption and all incident sound is reflected. At α = 0.5, 50 % of incident sound is absorbed and 50 % is reflected. At α = 1, the incident sound is completely absorbed.

In larger rooms where a high level of sound absorption is required, either larger acoustic panels or several acoustic panels are recommended. The choice of acoustic TFS size depends on various factors, including the size of the room, the utilisation of the room and the desired sound profile.

Acoustic tension fabric frames improve ambient acoustics by reducing background noise and reverberation. The fabric first allows the sound waves to pass through. When the sound waves hit the sound absorbing felt and are absorbed there, so that significantly fewer sound waves are transmitted back into the room.

• For an ideal result we recommend using the LED fabric for the LED tension fabric lightbox
• Transport-related creases disappear when stretched in the frame

Installation & fabric change:

• Frame is easy to assemble with the enclosed Allen key: plug together, tighten, done!
• Secure wall mount: picture is firmly attached; screws and dowels are included in the scope of delivery
• The sound absorbing felts are easily inserted and the fabric can be attached in seconds without any tools. Please start at the corners.
• Simple fabric change: Simply remove the picture using the transparent flap and replace it with the new one.
• Tip: Stick the flap to the bottom edge.
