The outdoor curtains are easy to install. Thanks to the metal eyelets (Ø 40 mm), they can be hung on most standard curtain rods. Alternatively, the fabric can also be hung on a wire rope or hooks. However, please ensure that the fixture is stable enough to support the weight of the curtains.

The curtains are made from an outdoor suitable fabric and withstand weather conditions outdoors throughout the year. However, if the fabric is constantly exposed to strong sunlight and UV radiation, the colours may gradually fade. To extend their lifespan, we recommend storing the curtains over the winter.

The outdoor curtains can be machine washed at up to 30°C. Please note that frequent washing may weaken the water-repellent coating. This can be refreshed by re-impregnating the fabric. Additionally, the fabric should not be dry cleaned or bleached.

The outdoor curtains are weatherproof and water-resistant. Rain or snow pose no problem for them. However, it is recommended to store the fabric in winter to prevent material wear due to extreme weather and to extend their lifespan.

The outdoor curtain has a material weight of 370 g/m². Accordingly, the smallest version available (100 x 100 cm) weighs approx. 0.5 kg and the largest (500 x 250 cm) approx. 5 kg. Our translucent material is about half as heavy, with a weight of 190 g/m³.

Since the curtains are equipped with metal eyelets spaced about 20 cm apart, they cannot be fully extended flat on the rod and are about 20% narrower. So, if you buy a 100 cm wide curtain, it will cover only about 80 cm due to the pleats. Please consider this when choosing the size.

To determine the size of a curtain, you must first measure the distance from the hanging point to the desired end of the curtain, such as the floor. This measurement will give you the height. Secondly, you should determine the width to be covered and add approximately 20% for pleating. This will give you the necessary width.

We advise against machine drying the outdoor curtains, as this may damage the water-repellent coating.

The outdoor curtain can be used on the patio, veranda, in the garden, in a gazebo or on a pergola, among other places. There, the fabric provides effective protection from the sun, wind, rain and prying eyes, and increases the feel-good factor.

The outdoor curtains are delivered impregnated. If the water-resistant coating has worn off due to frequent washing or machine drying, you can refresh the impregnation. There are several options: for example, wash-in impregnations or textile impregnation sprays.

The fabric used does not have a fire safety certificate. Always maintain a safe distance from potential fire sources, such as chimneys, open fires, electric heaters, stoves, and candles.

The translucent fabric provides pleasant protection from direct sunlight, but still allows daylight to pass through. The area remains bright and friendly, while reducing prying eyes. The darkening fabric, on the other hand, is completely opaque and ensures maximum privacy. Sunlight is completely blocked – ideal if you want shade and privacy or want to create a cosy, sheltered atmosphere.
